“A thread of love which reminds us that we belong to One Supreme and one family of humanity. This awareness allows a feeling of belonging to grow and is our greatest protection against challenges we face as a human being.”

We warmly invite you to join us at Inner Space for a beautiful meditation experience and to share 'spiritual vision' with Sister Manda an experienced yogi of over 40 years.

Raksha Bandhan (Rakhi) is an ancient and beautiful, spiritual ceremony that represents the reaffirming of a loving connection between ourselves and the Divine. It includes three main elements: meditative reflection on this deep relationship, the sharing of a close, spiritual connection through the eyes with an experienced yogi, and the symbolic tying of a fine thread (Rakhi) around the wrist as a reminder of our eternal bond with our spiritual parent.

The ceremony is about you and your connection with God and so you are most welcome to engage in all aspects or to just immerse yourself in the serene, meditative atmosphere.

Our special guest for the evening is Sister Manda, who is based at Global Retreat Centre near Oxford.  Sister Manda is a senior teacher with Brahma Kumaris.  A practitioner of Raja Yoga  meditation for more than four decades, she is Coordinator for Brahma Kumaris' activities in the north and south of England.
