Diwali – The Festival of Lights

Please join us in a magical evening to discover the Light Within.

Awaken your inner light and let the journey of your life be a luminous one.

Diwali (Deepavali) is an ancient Indian festival celebrating the victory of light over darkness. When we ignite our inner light, the darkness automatically gets dispelled.

Diwali is a celebration  relevant for all souls of the world.

During Diwali, people light lamps, set off fireworks, clean homes, open new business accounts, worship the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi, and share sweets.  For many these activities have just become rituals where no one knows the meaning behind performing or celebrating them.

Lighting lamps reminds us of the divine light of sparkling souls.

The Supreme Soul reminds me of my true identity as a soul.

The festival symbolizes victory over darkness or evil.

Darkness refers to negativity; and all vices.

In Raja Yoga meditation we are igniting the light of our original and innate qualities,

hidden but alive inside: power, purity, peace, love and happiness.

People clean every corner of their homes before Diwali.

There is power in cleanliness or purity especially when it’s active in our thoughts and actions.

When creating new business accounts and wearing new clothes, people aim to forget any old, bitter relationships and create new positive relationships.

Exchanging sweets at Diwali, inspires us to think sweet thoughts & speak sweet words.

This year let’s share  Diwali as the true festival of lights, a festival of inner light, the soul.
