We all have our story – from the moment we are born we interact with life, encountering a multitude of people, situations, influences and environments.  It is said that all these experiences make us who we are today but do they?  Are we simply the sum of our past experiences?  

This is an opportunity to discuss the nature of the self – examine the ‘stories’ we tell in our minds and explore the possibility of rising above the influence of negative experiences’.

Raman Sakhuja is a psychiatrist living in Cardiff working in the field of addictions.

Carol Evans: is a retired University Counsellor.  She also worked as a psychotherapist in private practice for 20 years and has been a student with the Brahma Kumaris for the last 25 years.
