Holocaust Memorial Day in Harrow

Brahma Kumaris representatives attended the Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) event at Harrow Arts Centre on 28th January, organised by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, London Borough of Harrow and Harrow Interfaith Forum on the theme Bridging Generations. The evening started with representatives of 12 faiths, including the Brahma Kumaris, each lit a candle and together spoke out a commitment to work together to support each other so that such events cannot happen in future. There were personal stories from Germany and also Cambodia, which were both harrowing and hopeful, as well as thoughtful reflections and moving and inspiring songs and readings.  Click here for more.
