Peace Meditation at City Hall Meeting

Sister Jaymini of the Brahma Kumaris was invited to lead the gathering in meditation at the start of a meeting about Hinduphobia and Hate Crimes against the Hindu Community at London’s City Hall in March. Convened by Krupesh Hirani, Assembly Member for Brent and Harrow, fellow speakers were Kaya Comer-Schwartz, Deputy Mayor of London for Policing and Crime, Superintendent Owen Renowden, Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), Varinder Hayre OBE, District Crown Prosecutor, Legal Manager, Crown Prosecution Service and Colin Tourick, Head of SAFE Programme, Community Security Trust. Representatives from temples and other places of worship around London, as well as law enforcement and other officers, were present to offer their experience and support.
